Introducing Michael Kibedi, a design researcher who writes First & Fifteenth — a fortnightly newsletter featuring his essays on human-computer interaction, data justice, and ecology.

In his talk, Michael will invite us to rethink technology’s relationship to the material and mineral. By challenging our conception of what gets recognised as design and its extractive relationship with the Earth, he will illustrate how we can begin to take our first steps towards liberatory futures informed by Black studies and conceptual art.
