Marisol is a Communications Strategist who has focused primarily on global campaigns and international development issues. 

She’s a former Head of Digital and Creative at the Department for International Development and has also led creative agencies in her own right. She began her career working in journalism at The Telegraph and The Guardian.

Marisol is hosting our afternoon panel, inviting Afreen Saulat and Anthony Pearce to explore The Power of Imagination. She’ll be asking how we can hold on to hopeful imaginings for the future in the current context of polycrisis at a planetary level and existential crisis in the global development sector. We’re excited to see where the conversation takes us.
